This product is a monoclonal antibody (IgG) to Taq DNA polymerase for use in hot start PCR. The antibody
was derived from a hybridoma (mouse originated) and purified by affinity chromatographic step from the
culture media. Isotype is IgG1 Kappa. When mixed with Taq DNA polymerase, it inhibits the polymerase activity
and prevents non-specific amplification derived from misprinting of primer dimer before PCR cycling. The
antibody is denatured during the initial denaturation step, so there is no need for a special denaturation
step. This antibody provides convenience PCR that enhances the specificity and sensitivity.

Protocol

1. To prepare Hot-start Taq DNA polymease, mix at a ratio of around 80ng of anti-Taq DNA polymerase Monoclonal Antibody per 1 unit of Taq DNA polymerase. Actual ratio of antibody to Taq DNA Polymease should be optimized.

2. Mix gently and incubate at 25℃ for about 20 minutes

3. Set up the PCR reaction by following the protocol of a regular thermal cycling condition used for the Taq DNA polymease
